Cypress University Alliance and BG Partners Present Second Annual Professor E.I. Tochitsky Fellowship Award to Belarus National Technical University.


Department for Advanced Device Development Honored for Remarkable PSoC[R] Deployment

, Calif. -- A team from Belarus National Technical University (BNTU BNTU Belize National Teacher's Union (BELIZE) ) was presented with the Second Annual Professor E.I. Tochitsky Fellowship Award. Under the leadership of Professor Igor E. Zuikov, the groups from the Department for Advanced Device Development implemented a massive deployment of the Cypress PSoC[R] programmable system-on-chip platform, including multiple PSoC-based seminars and diploma works. The award was presented at a ceremony in Minsk, Belarus.

"PSoC has been a wonderful teaching and design platform for us," said Professor Zuikov. "We are looking forward to continuing work with the platform, including next-generation devices."

Leading principals of BG Partners--Professor Alexander P. Ryjov, Dr. Irina E. Tochitskaya, and Entrepreneur-In-Residence Paul Molchanov (Winner of the 2007 Cypress PSoC Challenge)--presented the Award to BNTU. "We clearly recognize the enormous potential of BNTU as an excellent PSoC design center," said Dr. Victor V. Boksha, Managing Director of BG Partners. "We expect the BNTU team will further develop under the capable guidance of Professors Zuikov and Piotr G. Krivicky. We think that BNTU will augment the outstanding PSoC design capabilities we already have in Kiev and Cairo. We look forward to working together to fully realize in Belarus the immense potential for PSoC-based solutions."
