). The presentation entitled "Scalable Packet Look-Up Solutions for Next-Generation Networks" will be delivered on Wednesday, April 28 at 4:30 p.m. in the Reunion G room at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dallas, Texas. The second presentation entitled "Managed Storage Services Provide Next-Generation Business Continuity Solutions for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs)" will follow at 5:00 p.m.

As Internet usage, line rates and traffic complexity increase, designers require deep-packet processing solutions that are capable of resolving challenging Quality of Service (QoS) issues. With the need to support new services and protocols such as virtual private networks (VPNs) and IPv6, it is extremely important to have a scalable network processing solution that is capable of tens of millions of packet look-ups per second. During his presentation, Ganagesh Ganesan, product marketing manager for Cypress's Data Communication Division, will describe a scalable packet look-up solution that uses Motorola's C5 Network Processor together with Cypress's 80192 Search Coprocessor coprocessor

RK Pathasarathy, product marketing manager for Cypress's Data Communications Division, will illustrate how Motorola and Cypress have come together to create a SAN extension line card for managed storage services that can be used across multiple platforms to provide transport of stored data over existing networks (SONET/SDH).
