Cypress Semiconductor Names Advertising Agency; Silicon Valley's van Bronkhorst Group Selected to Drive New Print Campaign.


SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 1997--Cypress Semiconductor (NYSE:CY) today announced that it agreed to retain Silicon Valley-based van Bronkhorst Group as its advertising agency and principal communications advisor.

 will debut in electronics trade publications in early December, beginning with an ad for Cypress's industry-leading 1-Mbit Deep Sync FIFO. Cypress Semiconductor, a $600 million international supplier of high-performance integrated circuits, had been engaged in an agency review since late June.
