Cypress Adds Prototyping Board to $175 CPLD Development Kit; Provides Complete Design Solution for Ultra37000 CPLD Family.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 1999--Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE:CY) today announced that it has added a prototyping circuit board to its popular Warp2ISR(TM) In-System Reprogramming(TM) (ISR(TM)) kit for the Ultra37000(TM) Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) family.

In addition to the board, the kit includes the popular Warp2(R) design tools, the latest release of ISR software, a cable to easily program devices from a personal computer, complete Jam programming and testing support, and the popular VHDL for Programmable Logic textbook. Cypress continues to offer the kit for only $175.

The Warp2ISR kit gives designers the ability to verify their designs directly on the prototype board, offering increased flexibility and faster time to market. The prototype board comes with a 160-pin, 256-macrocell Ultra37000 device already pre-mounted and provides a second 208-pin socket that offers users the flexibility to try out their designs on other Ultra37000 devices.
