Cyota, a leading payment security company, today announced the introduction of its latest payment security product to be added to the Cyota SecureSuite(TM) platform. The newest addition, Cyota SecureDebit(TM), is based on the Maestro (1) (Maestro NT) An earlier name for scheduling software for Windows NT from Tivoli Systems, Inc. When IBM acquired Tivoli in 1996, the program was renamed IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler.  e-Commerce and m-Commerce Standard, and is available immediately for global issuers. The new product integrates with the existing SecureSuite product portfolio, and utilizes Cyota's patent-pending technology.

The new product will be unveiled at Cartes CARTES Computer Arts Centre at Espoo  2001 in Paris, France beginning at 4:00 p.m. on October 25th. All products are available for immediate orders with implementations available as early as the fourth quarter, 2001.

Maestro's e-Commerce standard was developed by Maestro in order to facilitate the growing need of Maestro cardholders to shop online securely. SecureDebit(TM), based on this standard, will enable 380 Million Maestro cardholders to make purchases online for the first time, something they have been unable to do until now, immediately increasing purchase volume for Maestro card issuers. SecureDebit(TM) also secures those transactions by not revealing their Maestro number.

Additional SecureSuite products include Cyota SecureVbV(TM), a 3DSecure (Verified by Visa Verified by Visa is a system used by Visa as an added layer of security for online credit and debit cards transactions.
