Walker oversees sales forecasting for new stores, store remodels and expansions, acquisitions and divestitures, and helps to guide Federated's strategic growth opportunities and the allocation of capital to promote top-line growth. She will continue to report to Ron Tysoe, vice chairman of Federated, who commented, "Cynthia and her team play an invaluable role, providing critical input into both our major capital expenditure decisions as well as our key strategic growth initiatives." Walker joined Federated in 1995 as director of area research and was named divisional vice president in 1998.
