Cynthia Haynie Joins SolArc as Chief Technology Officer; Former Executive with Caminus, ROME Corp., Brings 20 Years of Industry Experience.


HOUSTON -- SolArc, Inc., a leading provider of supply and trade management solutions for global energy companies, announced today that Cynthia Haynie has joined the company as its first chief technology officer (CTO (Chief Technical Officer) The executive responsible for the technical direction of an organization. As CTO, Haynie will be responsible for establishing the strategic long term goals and direction for SolArc's product solutions and directing the product development efforts in support of these goals. She has served in senior-level management positions with several companies, most recently with ROME Corp., a credit exposure software startup; and Caminus, a trade management software company acquired by SunGard in 2003. She has also played key management roles with other companies such as Altra Energy Technologies, Business Records Corporation, and IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) .
