 BB:CYNT) has engineered the company's ThermReTec(TM) process to reduce the cost of methanol production by 40 percent. Costs are based and compared to those processes using coal and/or syn-gas.

In addition to the ThermReTec(TM) process, Cyntech will utilize the "Liquid Phase Technology" (LPMEOH((TM))) developed and licensed by Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (NYSE NYSE

"By combining both technologies, we will be able to have the lowest production cost in the methanol industry," states Charles Tovey, senior vice president operations with Cyntech. "We will be in a position to process 180 million pounds of rubber (9 million tires) annually, which will produce 18 million gallons of methanol."
