Company Broadens International Reach of Affirm(TM) Anti-Aging and Elite(TM) Hair-Removal Technology to Five New Markets

WESTFORD, Mass., March 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cynosure, Inc. , a leading developer and manufacturer of a broad array of light-based aesthetic treatment systems, today announced the signing of an agreement with Depilite Medic Spa Equipment Corp., under which Depilite will be the exclusive distributor of Cynosure's Affirm(TM) and Apogee Elite(TM) workstations in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Honduras and Peru. Depilite currently operates more than 100 branches located in seven countries in North America, Europe and Latin America.

Cynosure's Affirm workstation is the Company's solution for anti-aging applications, including skin rejuvenation, treatments for wrinkles, discoloration and tissue tightening as a result of tissue coagulation. The Apogee Elite family of products is a comprehensive hair removal system that allows aestheticians to treat clients of all skin types. The system also may be used for treatment of facial and leg veins, as well as benign epidermal pigmented lesions.
