Cylink Wins Contract to Supply Security Solutions to Concert.

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 1996--Cylink Corporation (NASDAQ: CYLK), leading supplier of security and management systems for all types of networks since 1984, today announced it has won a three-year contract to supply its enterprise security solutions to Concert, a joint venture between MCI and BT (British Telecom).

Concert, based in Reston, Va., was formed to provide global managed network services to customers of BT and MCI on a worldwide basis.

Cylink's technology, including its SecureFrame, SecureDomain and SecureManager products, will be used with Concert Frame Relay Service for customers of all sizes.

SecureFrame and SecureDomain completely and transparently protect important data from unauthorized access by authenticating users and then automatically encrypting the payload. SecureManager remotely supports and monitors the network much as a network administrator does, configuring and modifying access controls and maintaining an audit trail of activities. Cylink's products offer the highest level of information security available using Diffie-Hellman public key cryptography.
