Cylant Announces HQ Relocation and Management Expansion; Award-Winning Security Software Developer Bolsters Executive Team; Moves Base to Southern California.

Award-winning security software developer Cylant Inc. today announced the move of its global headquarters and an expansion of its executive team.

Cylant President and CEO, J. Cleve Adams, said the company has moved its base of operations from Moscow, Idaho to San Clemente in Orange County, Calif. In the announcement Adams also named the company's first chief financial officer (CFO), and vice presidents of marketing and products and services.

"Cylant's headquarters relocation and management expansion reflect the rapid evolution of the company," Adams said. "We needed a location that provided better access to our global customer base and a seasoned, successful executive team to guide its growth."

Filling Cylant's new executive posts are:

-- David Styka, Chief Financial Officer -- An 18 year veteran of finance and operations management in high-technology companies, Styka was most recently a partner in Hong Kong-based incubator/private equity firm IncubASIA.

-- A. Sage Osterfeld, Vice President, Marketing -- An experienced marketer, Osterfeld has held posts in software and technology firms since the 1980s. Prior to Cylant he was a senior partner at high tech marketing firm Blunt Information Design.

-- Terry Stuart, Vice President, Products and Services -- With nearly two decades of experience in networking and security, Stuart is an accomplished systems engineer and security specialist. Prior to joining Cylant, he directed Field Support and Product Management for Websense Inc.

The appointments are effective immediately.

As part of the expansion Cylant is also adding to its California-based support and engineering staffs, and establishing national field sales offices. The company will continue to maintain a research and development staff in its Moscow, Idaho offices.
