CygNet Software Adds Northland Automation & Services as SCADA Software Distributor for Central & South America, Caribbean.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- CygNet(TM) Software, Inc. today announced the appointment of Northland Automation and Services, LLC, based in Coral Gables, Florida, to distribute and support CygNet ETM(TM) software for the oil and gas production, transportation and storage industries throughout Central America, South America and the Caribbean islands.

CygNet ETM (Enterprise Transaction Management) is the automation industry's first true supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system that offers users a cost-effective, high performance and infinitely scalable software solution for enterprise-wide management and distribution of real-time production information.

ETM client applications typically reside on user workstations and interact with the host services over local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets and the Internet -- whatever is most convenient for the user. Client applications include a human-machine interface (HMI) developer/viewer, an alarm console and historical trending.

Built-in system administration features are also provided by CygNet Explorer and all clients are automatically updated through CygNet's version management system. CygNet pricing for the ETM Server product is based on the number of hosts and number of clients purchased -- with no additional fees for large point or device counts. The data historian is unlimited in size. All of the ETM client applications are included at no additional cost.
