Cycomm appoints Albert I. Hawk as president and chief executive officer.

:CYI CYI Can You Imagine ) announced Thursday the appointment of Albert ("Bud") I. Hawk as president and chief executive officer of the company succeeding Peter Hickey who has resigned to pursue other information technology opportunities.

Hawk is the managing director of Corstone Corp., a private merchant and investment banking company specializing in the telecommunications and information technology industries, headquartered in McLean.

Hawk is also an attorney, practicing in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, corporate and securities law prior to leaving private practice in 1991.

Hickey stated, "This transition is consistent with my announced intentions and goals upon my appointment two years ago. I achieved the reorganization of the company, that is presently defining its market for its product line.
