Cycomm International Inc. subsidiary receives order from Ericsson Inc.

:CYI CYI Can You Imagine ) announced Monday that Ericsson has ordered 150 PCMobile Units from its wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

Notes:
In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.
 XL Computing Corp.

The initial value of this order from the end user is in excess of $1 million and will be delivered in the first half of 1997.

The PCMobile Units will be deployed in police vehicles in Genesee County Genesee County is the name of two counties in the United States of America:
  • Genesee County, Michigan
  • Genesee County, New York
, Mich. This order was placed under the previously announced OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  Distribution Agreement entered into between XL Computing and Ericsson.

Albert I. Hawk, president and chief executive officer of Cycomm, remarked that "this is our largest single order to date from Ericsson of our products under our recently signed agreement with Ericsson. I anticipate this size order to be indicative of future orders from Ericsson and other resellers and distributors of the PCMobile."
