New Version of Cyclone Interchange Trading Engine Expands Platform

Support to Linux and AS/400

Cyclone Commerce, Inc., the leader in business-to-business Internet Trading Community Management solutions, today announced the newest release of its Cyclone Interchange(TM) Trading Engine. Version 2.3 expands platform support to provide Linux and AS/400 users with trading community development and management solutions.

By including partner updating and grouping capabilities, trading community sponsors can easily structure and organize large-scale Internet trading communities. Furthermore, with COM support, users can more easily integrate Cyclone Interchange with their Windows-based applications, while IBM MQSeries support offers users additional transport, internal integration and messaging options. Now, companies wishing to scale trading communities can do so more easily and quickly, adding trading partners of all sizes and with various information technology infrastructures.

IBM's MQSeries is a powerful messaging solution used in local and wide area networks to provide application integration. Cyclone Interchange extends MQSeries to Internet-based trading communities seamlessly and transparently, making it possible to rapidly connect to more business partners without having to re-engineer the existing network architecture and business processes.

In addition to expanded platform support, new user and partner administration and management capabilities make it significantly easier to form and scale trading communities of any size. The enhanced user administration features add optional front-end security offerings, such as login and tracking of administrative changes, user permissions set by community, forced password changes, and forced dual password login.

Pricing and availability

Cyclone Interchange, version 2.3, including support for the Linux and AS/400 platforms, is now shipping and available in two editions: Cyclone Interchange Enterprise Edition for multiple trading partners and Cyclone Interchange Solo Edition for single trading partner relationships.

Pricing for Cyclone Interchange is based on the platform used. Prices for Cyclone Interchange are available under subscription and license.
