Cybex Introduces New Line of Exercise Products at Major Trade Show.

Cybex International, Inc. (AMEX: CYB), a leading exercise equipment manufacturer today announced the introduction of the Total Body Arc Trainer and a new line of recumbent and upright bikes.

The Cybex Total Body Arc Trainer is the first cross trainer to provide the ability to adjust incline while lower and upper body training is in progress. Ray Giannelli, Senior Vice President of Research and Development states, "We are very proud of this revolutionary new product category. Like the current Arc Trainer, the Total Body Arc Trainer is designed to provide a rigorous workout with less stress exerted on the joints. The wide resistance range offered by the Total Body Arc Trainer: 0 to 900 watts, 101 levels for manual mode and eleven incline levels offer enough versatility to meet the performance goals of everyone from the deconditioned first-time user to the serious athlete."

Cybex also announced the introduction of new upright and recumbent exercise bikes to its line of fitness products. Both styles offer 21 exercise levels in both manual mode and programmed exercises. The new Cybex bikes feature unique programming opportunities by incorporating programs based on three modes of operation; bike mode, constant power and isokinetically based accommodating resistance programs. Both bikes feature display consoles that are consistent with Cybex cardiovascular products providing greater ease of use. The new bikes offer a 15 to 900 watt resistance range, the widest resistance range available in the fitness market today.

Both bike models offer a stylish industrial design, orthopaedically engineered seats to improve ergonomics for greater comfort, as well as contact and wireless heart-rate monitoring and control. The upright model is designed for those who prefer a traditional cycling position and the recumbent bike is for those who prefer or require a seated position with back support.
