Cybex Computer Products Corporation (NASDAQ: CBXC) today announced it will begin shipping its new XP4000(TM) Series in November 1999. This modular, matrix KVM switching system gives customers the freedom of uninterrupted, simultaneous access to every server or serial based device in their configuration, even if the server or network is down.

XP4400 - New chassis for connecting hundreds of users and thousands of servers

The XP4400 is the newest addition to the XP4000 Series. It is designed to optimize large-scale KVM switch installations. The XP4400 concentrates 144 sets of mouse, keyboard and video signals into a single unit, thereby significantly reducing the number of chassis, cards and cables in an XP4000 system. By connecting multiple XP4400 chassis together, data center managers can support hundreds of users and thousands of servers. XP4080 - New space-saving chassis connects eight servers, features simultaneous access

Another new chassis in the XP4000 Series, the XP4080, is a space-saving unit that gives users simultaneous access to eight servers per unit without interruption from another user. Users can cascade units for additional support. It not only saves space in a crowded server room; it reduces the total cost of ownership.

Key-View II Gives Local and Remote Users Complete Control of Any Server

Key-View(R) II is a second-generation remote control system that allows users the flexibility to control any server room or branch servers from any location - even when the network is down. Using either a modem, Internet or network connection, this non-intrusive hardware system provides users access to all levels of server control, ranging from CMOS settings to power cycling servers.

Cybex Extension and Remote Access Technology Give Greater Access

Cybex makes it easy for users to access any server in a matrix configuration from any location. By using Cybex's LongView(TM) extension technology, users can be located up to 500 feet away from the server using a single Category 5 cable.
