Cybex Computer Products Announces LongView KVM Extender; Cost-Effective Solution Allows Remote Operation of Servers Over Ordinary Category 5 Cable.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--Cybex Computer Products, the world's largest supplier of KVM switching and extension solutions, today announced LongView, a sub-$500 KVM extender which allows control of servers from distances of up to 500' using a single Category 5 UTP cable. The LongView features AutoTuning (patent pending), which automatically configures systems without requiring user intervention.
