Remigius G. Shatas, a co-founder of Cybex, has been a Director since 1981 and served as the company's first president. In 1986, Shatas invented the world's first keyboard/video extension product, which enabled PC users to be located up to 150 feet away from their computers. Later, Bob Asprey improved this product by extending the distance up to 600 feet and adding additional peripheral support. In 1989, Shatas and Asprey developed the technology for the AutoBoot Commander, the world's first keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) switch capable of booting all attached servers after a power interruption. Prior to founding Cybex, Mr. Shatas spent five years as a systems engineer and real-time programmer at SCI (Scalable Coherent Interface) An IEEE standard for a high-speed bus that uses wire or fiber-optic cable. It can transfer data up to 1GBytes/sec.

For eleven years Mr. Lofty was vice president and CFO at Nichols Research Corporation, where he participated in its initial public offering, secondary stock offerings and more than eight corporate acquisitions.

Ken Ravenelle, executive vice president, has 25 years experience administering a variety of strategic marketing initiatives and business alliances for computer and data communication companies, including Intel, Motorola and Data General. Prior to joining 2C, Mr. Ravenelle served as vice president, voice and data technology, for McLeodUSA's Data Networks Group. Earlier, as the senior director of Internet technology, he was responsible for Motorola's Internet e-commerce technology. In 1991, Mr. Ravenelle was named director of Intel's strategic software technology group eventually reporting directly to Andy Grove, President and CEO of Intel.
