Cybex Computer Products Corporation (Nasdaq:CBXC), the world's premier provider of switching, extension and remote access solutions, today announced the first in a series of products designed specifically for the burgeoning ISP (1) See in-system programmable.

(2) (Internet Service Provider) An organization that provides access to the Internet. Connection to the user is provided via dial-up, ISDN, cable, DSL and T1/T3 lines.
, ASP, CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) An organization offering local telephone service that is not one of the traditional telephone companies. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 allowed competition to the incumbent telcos (ILECs), enabling new companies (CLECs)  and ILEC (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier) A traditional local telephone company such as one of the Regional Bell companies (RBOCs).  (keyboard, video, mouse) switch for Internet infrastructure providers who have standardized on 48-volt power in their central offices.

Featuring Cybex's LongView(TM) remote access technology embedded in a true 2 x 8 matrix switch, the AutoView 200 allows two users to independently and simultaneously access any of the eight attached servers. The 48-volt power supply offers service providers and telcos a switch that already meets their current power supply standards. With the AutoView 200, a second user can even be located as far as 500 feet away. Additionally, Cybex's XPAL(TM) card allows the AutoView 200 switch to interface directly into Cybex's XP4040 KVM switch (1) See also KVM.

(2) (Keyboard Video Mouse switch) A device used to connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor to two or more computers. KVM switches are used to save space on a desktop when multiple computers are used by one user.

Scheduled to ship in March, the 8-port model of the AutoView 200 48-volt switch will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,095 (U.S.) and will be available from authorized Cybex resellers.
