. The first step of the Joint Venture will see Crain-Drummond use Cybersurf's WAN to move its print and company information from one center to the next. In the short-term, Crain-Drummond will provide secure space in each city in which they have a sales office or a print center and allow Cybersurf to use this secure space free of charge to house Cybersurf's dial-up and WAN equipment. Crain-Drummond will have direct access to the WAN in each of these locations and will realize a similar savings from the Joint Venture. The long-term component will see Cybersurf working with Crain-Drummond to connect Crain-Drummond's customers in each city to the WAN.

This agreement marks the beginning of a new direction for Cybersurf which, until recently, has concentrated solely on developing its unique dial-up Internet access See dial-up.  service. Cybersurf has built the first phase of its WAN by connecting together Vancouver, Calgary and will soon add Toronto. In the future they expect to add Victoria, Ottawa, Edmonton and other centers in Alberta.
