Cybernetics names Waldron chief financial officer.

Waldron, who has been with Cybernetics cybernetics [Gr.,=steersman], term coined by American mathematician Norbert Wiener to refer to the general analysis of control systems and communication systems in living organisms and machines.  since March of this year, had been serving in that capacity on an interim basis following the resignation of the position's previous incumbent, Dean Trojan, in August.

Immediately prior to joining Cybernetics, Waldron served as controller of Acme Holdings Inc., a multistate equipment rental company. During his tenure with Acme, the company secured credit lines totaling $40 million, implemented a $78 million public debt offering, and grew from 23 branches and $50 million in annual revenues to 47 branches and annual revenues of $90 million.

Waldron, a Certified Public Accountant Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

An accountant who has met certain standards, including experience, age, and licensing, and passed exams in a particular state.
, has also held senior accounting positions with Ernst & Young LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol  in Los Angeles, and with Winchell's Doughnut House Inc., where after serving in a variety of accounting positions he was promoted to controller.

Cybernetics Products is a diversified corporation involved in the development and manufacture of precision, high-volume drills and routers for electronic circuit boards and advanced camera systems for animation, feature film special effects and computer graphics applications.

The company also operates a nationwide service organization under the name of Computer Services of America, which services personal computers, mainframes and peripherals.
