Cybernet Systems Corporation today announced that corporate investors, led by Sparton Corporation of Jackson, Michigan Jackson is a city located along Interstate 94 in the south central area of the U.S. state of Michigan, about 40 miles (0 km) west of Ann Arbor. It is the county seat of Jackson County, Michigan6. , have purchased a minority stake in the company for $4.75 million.

Cybernet, a ten year old Ann Arbor technology firm headed by Heidi Jacobus, has launched a series of new products and partnerships that will complement the company's historical R&D contract business. Funds from the investment will be used to further commercialize products in the computer networking
