Cybermation Inc., a leading developer of enterprise automation solutions, recently completed the largest sale in its history, a multimillion-dollar deal to one of North America's largest air carriers. The carrier, an existing Cybermation customer since 1997, has decided to expand its use of ESP Workload Manager throughout their enterprise. They have acquired several hundred ESP Agents to extend its existing ESP Workload Manager job scheduling In a large computer, establishing a job queue to run a sequence of programs over any period of time such as a single shift, a full day, etc.  solution beyond the OS/390 platform to the Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  and Unix environments and to manage their SAP platform. In the process, the customer is eliminating its existing scheduling products on those platforms in favor of Cybermation's leading product.

The size and nature of the sale is particularly encouraging in the wake of the events of September 11th, indicating that this air carrier is committed to implementing technologies that will help the company grow and at the same time, improve the efficiency of its operations.

"Our customers clearly see the significant benefits that our automation solutions provide their organizations," stated Ray Nissan, Cybermation CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. As a result, customers typically report staggering returns on their investment."

Although the company had been approached by other job scheduling vendors, they chose to further their investment with ESP Workload Manager based on the stellar past performance of the software. Cybermation's commitment to their deadlines and dedication to their needs also made a favorable impression on the company.

The decision to purchase additional ESP Agents was based on the fact that they allow a more focused point of control in job scheduling. The long-term cost savings associated with this decision was also another factor that could not be ignored.

Cybermation Professional Services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  also played a key role in securing the deal. As the solution begins to be implemented, the Professional Services team will be responsible for converting the customer from its existing Windows NT and UNIX scheduling products to Cybermation's ESP Workload Manager. Cybermation doesn't consider a project complete until the new automation solution is running, systems are successfully converted and staff is trained.

Cybermation's ESP Agent technology is a key element of its focus on ROI (Return On Investment) The monetary benefits derived from having spent money on developing or revising a system. In the IT world, there are more ways to compute ROI than Carter has liver pills (and for those of you who never heard of that expression, it means a lot). .
