CyberOptics' founder case dead in plane crash.


MINNEAPOLIS -- CyberOptics (cyberoptics.com) founder and chairman Steven K. Case was killed June 16 when the single-engine Cirrus SR22 he was piloting crashed while trying to land at a suburban Minneapolis airport. He was 60.

He founded CyberOptics in 1984 while a professor of electrical engineering electrical engineering: see engineering.

He was a director of the American Electronics Association The American Electronics Association (now known as AeA) is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry in the United States.  and a director of the Surface Mount Equipment Manufacturers Association since 2008.
