Through their partnership, ViXS and CyberLink will co-develop and market a low cost, easily integrated multimedia solution that gives PC OEMs all the video functionality of a broadcast head-end unit on a single chip. By delivering extremely high-quality video at a low bit rate, ViXS' TV Tuner Card with XCode II-L video processor allows consumers to simultaneously record multiple TV programs and archive their favorite TV shows to DVD using minimal storage space. Users of the combined CyberLink-ViXS solution can store up to 8 hours of video content to a single DVD and build a broadcast-quality home video collection.
