CyberGuard Corporation, (AMEX:CFW), the technology leader in network security, today announced that its entire line of premium security appliances - the SL, KS, FS and LX series - has earned the Firewall Checkmark Certification from West Coast Labs. The lab awarded the certification to CyberGuard for the 5.0 release of its core firewall technology which includes an integrated virtual private network (VPN). The Firewall Checkmark is an internationally recognized standard for evaluating security solutions. The evaluations are designed to provide end users with concise, up-to-date information they can use to make security purchasing decisions.
