WebAuthorize 1.3 is the first version of WebAuthorize to be made available through CyberCash's reseller channel - the payment industry's largest - and it supports new e-commerce security standards and business-to-business (B2B) processing. A Sun Solaris(TM) version of WebAuthorize 1.3 is the first CyberCash product designed specifically for the Solaris platform.

WebAuthorize 1.3 represents a significant upgrade to WebAuthorize, offering superior performance for all types of payment transactions. WebAuthorize handles Internet and physical-world transactions, as well as telephone and mail order transactions. The new version also enables B2B payment processing through Visa/Mastercard Level 2 purchasing card A Purchasing Card is a form of company credit card that allows goods and services to be procured without utilising a traditional purchasing process.

 support, and is certified with Amex Corporate Purchase Card.

WebAuthorize 1.3 supports two new security standards for Internet commerce. It features Visa's Card Verification Value Two (CVV See CSC. 2) and MasterCard's Card Validation Code Two (CVC See CSC. 2), providing additional fraud prevention for Internet and mail orders when a card is not physically present. It also supports Electronic Commerce Indicators, meeting the latest Visa regulations for transactions that occur when a credit card number is keyed into an Internet browser See Web browser. .

WebAuthorize 1.3 is available with dialup, leased line A private communications channel leased from a common carrier. Most digital lines require four wires (two pairs) for full-duplex transmission.
