The award was presented to Venturian Software in a special ceremony during the show held at Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Nov. 2, 1996. The "Best of Show" award recognizes the products in the computer telephony industry whose significant contributions and innovative technology have placed them in this select group.

To be eligible to exhibit at this year's Computer Telephony Fall Demo, companies had to pass the rigorous standards and meet the criteria set out by the editors of Computer Telephony, Call Center and Teleconnect magazines. Out of hundreds of organizations that entered, only 69 companies were selected to participate.

CyberCall is a second-generation platform independent call center solution which allows companies to establish virtual call centers through their World Wide Web sites. Its innovative approach is based on the combination of three key technologies: existing computer information systems, existing voice telecommunication telecommunication

"We are very excited to be recognized for our contributions to the rapidly expanding and high-growth area of Internet Call Center," said Ilan Sharon, Venturian's president. "We expect that CyberCall will offer dramatic improvements for companies that emphasize strong customer service in both a traditional call center environment and companies based on Internet transactions."

This award follows CyberCall's selection as "Best of Show" by both Call Center and Teleconnect magazines at Computer Telephony 1996.
