CyberAlert Awards Annual PR Grants to 29 Non-Profit Organizations.

By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  (PR) Grants to Not-for-Profit Organizations. The 29 grants to organizations in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , Canada, United Kingdom and Switzerland are the largest number the company has awarded in one year. Each grant is for one free year of online news monitoring service using CyberAlert 4.0.

The total retail value of this year's grants exceeds $75,000. Since starting the PR Grants program in 2004, CyberAlert has awarded a total of 102 grants with a retail value of more than $250,000.

The 2008 award recipients are located in nine different states (MA, NY, MD, VA, NC, FL, IL, WI, CA), the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C. (the capital of the United States). , two Canadian provinces (Quebec, Ontario), and two countries in Europe (Switzerland, United Kingdom).

Over 300 not-for-profit organizations applied to CyberAlert for the PR Grants. Services tend to specialize by media type or content type.  and we're delighted to be able to increase the number of grants awarded this year," stated William J. The CyberAlert selection process favored national and international organizations with innovative services that benefit the young, the disadvantaged, the ill and disabled, the environment, and better government. It also favored organizations with plans to utilize the monitoring service The general surveillance of known air traffic movements by reference to a radar scope presentation or other means, for the purpose of passing advisory information concerning conflicting traffic or providing navigational assistance.  and resulting news clips in innovative ways.

A list of previous PR Grant Recipients is available on the CyberAlert Website. Grant applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed at the end of the year.
