Latest Release Adds Distributed Gateway Support, Automatic Failover and Remote Control to Further Enhance Connectivity and Streamline Management of Growing Vault Deployments

Version 2.5 of the Cyber-Ark Vaulting solution adds improved connectivity, security and performance while reducing administrative overhead by enabling the remote and distributed implementation of Vault Gateways throughout the enterprise and to business partners and customers. Also included in this version is a new Disaster Recovery module to ensure availability of Vaulted systems in the event of the physical destruction or failure of servers. The Disaster Recovery module regularly replicates information to a secondary site and initiates an automatic, hands-free failover to minimize downtime The time during which a computer is not functioning due to hardware, operating system or application program failure.  during a disaster. Enhanced Remote Control features enable users to carry out key server operations and management from a remote terminal, including configuration and retrieving log files. The Rijndael /rayn-dahl/ symmetric block cipher, designed by Joan Daemen and Vincent Rijmen, was chosen by a NIST contest to be AES.  (AES) encryption.
