Genesis to begin using Cybear's product Solutions MDSM to

facilitate connectivity between its healthcare providers.

Cybear and Genesis will work together to provide connectivity

applications to approximately 500 Genesis-affiliated

physicians.

Genesis and Cybear will work together to develop information and

connectivity products for the long term care industry.

Cybear, Inc, (Nasdaq: CYBA), the Internet-based healthcare communications technology company, and Genesis Health Ventures, INC. (NYSE: GHV), a provider of long term care, home health, pharmaceutical and other healthcare services, announced today a strategic partnership.

Cybear and Genesis will work to electronically link the healthcare providers that provide care to Genesis patients in a manner that improves care and efficiency.

Under the agreement, Genesis and its affiliate providers will receive Cybear's powerful Internet package Solutions MDSM on a free trial subscription basis. The Solutions MD package includes online tools, a physician's home page, e-mail, and applications. Solutions MD will provide a communications base for future introduction of a Genesis specific Intranet. Cybear will use the knowledge base provided by Genesis to develop Internet-based applications and systems designed to improve the management of care for the long term care industry. Genesis will also become the preferred provider of eldercare content for Cybear's consumer sites in exchange for payment of a consulting fee by Cybear.
