Cybear, Inc. (Nasdaq:CYBA), the Internet-based healthcare communications technology company, today announced that it has established a relationship with Benchmark IPA, the physician organization affiliated with Continuum Health Partners, Inc.

Benchmark manages more than 2,000 physicians for risk contracts for Continuum Health Partners. As Benchmark expands to be a premier value-added partner to the managed care industry, Benchmark has engaged Cybear to implement its Intranet communications system for the physicians at Beth Israel, one of the three hospitals which comprise Continuum Health Partners.

A limited number of medical staff will be connected immediately to the Intranet, to be quickly followed by a rollout strategy throughout the system. It is anticipated that Benchmark will have their physicians completely operational on the network by the end of 1999.
