Cybear And MedcomSoft Sign Strategic Alliance; MedcomSoft Gains Access To Cybear's Physicians' Online Internet Portal.

MedcomSoft Inc. (TSE:MSF.), a leading provider of electronic medical records, and Cybear Inc., a member of Andrx Corporation - Cybear Group (Nasdaq:CYBA), the parent company of Physicians' Online (POL), today announced that they have entered into a strategic alliance agreement whereby MedcomSoft can provide geographically targeted communication and advertising for the MedcomSoft products on Cybear's Physicians' Online website (http://www.pol.net).

The MedcomSoft suite of products includes MedcomSoft Record, a new generation of electronic medical record (EMR) systems capable of capturing structured and codified clinical information compatible with aggregation, analysis, and secure communications over the Internet, as well as MedcomSoft Disease Management, MedcomSoft Protocol Generator, and MedcomSoft Claims. Each of these MedcomSoft products facilitates the exchange of information between providers to deliver better continuity of care.

Cybear and MedcomSoft have also entered into a royalty bearing license agreement under Cybear's electronic prescribing patent Nos. 5,737,539 and 5,845,255, which cover the use of electronically transmitted prescriptions.
