CybeRecord, Inc. (OTC: CYRD) announced today that it has developed a client-server application for secure remote billing and management of its ScanServer automatic microfilm scanners, which the company expects to install worldwide.

The application is solely a feature of the scanner and not a standalone product that may be purchased. The program employs Microsoft's Office 2000 and ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) software to generate monthly invoices and a multitude of internal reports for accounting, sales, marketing, and customer services such as technical support and scanner diagnostics.

ScanServer -- the first economical, automatic, high-quality, and high-speed microfilm scanner -- facilitates digitization of a multitude of film formats into an enterprise-wide electronic database. It is the first microfilm scanner available on a monthly rental and -- when possible -- overnight-replacement program, which allows organizations to install as many scanners as necessary for the time they need them, with no capital expenditure and no worry about equipment breakdowns. In addition, ScanServer's push-button operation does not require a high skill level; the scanner quickly and automatically converts even marginal-quality microfilm images to high-quality digital images, with no operator intervention.
