:CYRD) announced today that its board of directors has passed a resolution to add Robert Hogan Robert Hogan can refer to:
  • Robert J. Hogan, American actor
  • Robert Hogan (psychologist), American psychologist
  • Robert Hogan (mechanic), a New Zealand mechanic and one of the founders of the Fulton Hogan construction company
of Redmond, Wash. as an interim board member.

His appointment will be voted upon at the next annual meeting of company shareholders.

Mr. Hogan was recently a member of the acquisition team that consolidated 25 communication and data networking companies into Expanets of Berkeley Heights, N.J. The consolidation created the largest U.S. mid-market provider of networked communications solutions, with revenues expected to exceed $1.4 billion this year. In 1996, he and an associate originated the consolidation concept that would become Expanets. He also serves on the board of VisualCommerce, a developer of mid-market e-commerce applications for the Microsoft platform.

"Bob is a pioneer in the telephone systems interconnect business, where, in the early `70s, he created the country's first telephone equipment brokerage firm, the beginning of a series of companies he guided and sold for profit," said James Lucas, CybeRecord's chairman and chief executive officer. "His vision, insider knowledge, and business experience in the data networking and telecommunications industries are very important to our company as we grow."

In 1997, Mr. Hogan introduced the executives of a world leader in high-quality, high-speed photo lab equipment to CybeRecord's founders. The photo processing supplier spent several months in due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. This term has caught on in all industries, because it sounds so "wired." "The due diligence was a powerful validation of CybeRecord's business plan, technology, and capability," said Mr. Hogan. "The ScanServer high-quality, high-speed automatic microfilm A continuous film strip that holds several thousand miniaturized document pages. See micrographics.

I have been following the company's development and market over the past four years and am convinced its ScanServer is the solution to digitize To convert an image or signal into digital code by scanning, tracing on a graphics tablet or using an analog to digital conversion device. 3D objects can be digitized by a device with a mechanical arm that is moved onto all the corners.  microfilm records.
