CyMed Receives Strong Client Satisfaction Scores in KLAS Study on Outsourced Transcription; Firm Ties for Top Survey Business Indicator Score and Excels Against Other Large Vendors.


RICHMOND, Va. -- CyMed, Inc., announced today their positive survey results in the May 2006 KLAS KLAS Keystone Library Automation System  Study on Medical Transcription

 Service Organizations. The independent study evaluated thirteen leading industry vendors, including the four largest by revenue (MedQuist, Spheris, CyMed and C-Bay). The complete KLAS Study on Outsourced Transcription is available for a fee through the KLAS website (www.healthcomputing.com).

CyMed, the nation's third largest medical transcription service provider received an 87% score in the business indicator category which considers whether the client would buy from their vendor again, recommend them to a friend, and consider them as their best consultant experience. The category also asked if the vendor avoided nickel nickel, metallic chemical element; symbol Ni; at. no. 28; at. wt. 58.69; m.p. about 1,453°C;; b.p. about 2,732°C;; sp. gr. 8.902 at 25°C;; valence 0, +1, +2, +3, or +4.  and diming the client post sale and whether they kept all their promises. The comparative scores in this category for the other large MTSOs (those with over $30 million in annual revenue) included Spheris (69%), MedQuist (63%) and C-Bay (44%).

The study also ranked vendors for performance indicators, percentage of positive comments, and overall PSF (Print Services Facility) Software from IBM that performs the printer rasterization for IBM's AFP and other page description languages. PSF products are available for IBM mainframes, AS/400 and RS/6000 series and output the IPDS format for IBM printers.  (Professional Service Firm) scores - which is an industry neutral ranking. CyMed finished strongly ahead of Spheris, MedQuist and C-Bay in each of these categories and was the only one of these larger MTSOs to score "meaningfully above the KLAS PSF averages."
