Nationally recognized teaching hospital selects CyLex Express(R)

CyLex today announced that in cooperation with business partner UBC/United Micrographics, it has completed an agreement to provide its Cylex Express(R) document imaging and management services to Tampa General Hospital, a nationally recognized teaching facility that serves fourteen counties in Central Florida.

Under terms of the agreement, the CyLex service will electronically capture and store the hospital's massive archive of invoices, cash receipts, and supporting documentation. Prior to the CyLex implementation, this information was converted to microfilm by United Micrographics. The new implementation offers higher levels of efficiency combined with increased security and instant access to information. CyLex Express will give the hospital's accounting and administrative staff immediate access to all patient billing records, via the World Wide Web, from any internet-connected computer.
