The manager of the new office is Ken Baker, senior vice president, formerly of Scripps Bank, Encinitas office. In continuing the emphasis on hiring quality, experienced bankers to support the Bank's growth objectives, Baker brings significant management and relationship banking experience to Cuyamaca Bank. His 20 year banking career started with First Interstate Bank, where he managed the bank's corporate banking training department and later served as relationship manager and commercial loan officer. He joined Scripps Bank in 1996, where he served as senior commercial loan officer and then manager of the Encinitas office. Baker has spent the majority of his career in North County, working in both Carlsbad and Encinitas for the past 15 years, and is an Encinitas resident.
