Cutting pesticide sales in Canada. (The Beat).


In March 2002 Canada's largest food retailer, Loblaw Companies Loblaw Companies Limited (TSX: L) (LCL) is the largest retailer in Canada, with over 1,690 supermarkets operating under a variety of regional banners, including the namesake Loblaws. , announced that beginning in 2003 it would no longer sell chemical pesticides in its 440 garden centers.
