Cutting costs for charity.

EMPLOYEES at West Bromwich West Bromwich (brŭm`ĭj, –ĭch, brŏm`wĭch), city (1991 pop. 146,386), Sandwell metropolitan district, W central England.  based Anglo-Holt Construction grasped the green gauntlet to help raise pounds 1,500 for charity.

Office staff at Anglo Holt did their bit for the environment to reduce paper products and stationery in their day to day back office functions.

And with a chosen charity of Promise Dreams, and more and more employees buying into the campaign to cull cull

Accepting the cheque on behalf of children's charity Promise Dreams, former England and Wolves striker Steve Bull said: "This is a wonderful example of how staff at Anglo Holt Construction have taken personal accountability for environmental impact and have given a heartfelt contribution to charity as a result.

"Innovative ideas like this can bring benefits to a business as well as a huge boost to the funds of Promise Dreams. Anglo Holt has set a trend for others to follow."

Promise Dreams, founded in 2001, raises money for seriously or terminally-ill children and provides funding for treatment, help and support for both them and their families.

Through sponsorship of the Steve Bull annual golf tournament, employees, clients and suppliers of Anglo Holt Construction have donated over pounds 12,500 to the charity in recent years.
