The newest release of the award-winning spreadsheet adds over 15 functions, includes numerous formatting and usability improvements, and delivers extensive enterprise-class features and integration that will strengthen its leadership position among individual mobile professionals, as well as workgroups and enterprises.

Quicksheet 5.0 remains the only fully functional and MS Excel compatible spreadsheet application to receive Platinum Certification from Palm, Inc. Single-user pricing has been lowered to $39.95 MSRP, from the previous price of $49.95 USD.

Many of the upgrades and improvements in Quicksheet 5.0 were generated through direct requests from customers, such as the ability to sort by row, column or selected region, or to transfer frozen rows and columns to and from Excel. The company has also added a Quicksheet Desktop application that supports drag and drop of Excel (XLS) and Quicksheet (QSH) files into a spreadsheet.

Another key feature added to Quicksheet 5.0 is the ability for users to link to spreadsheets on a desktop or corporate network and automatically synchronize with an XLS file. For example, multiple sales representatives can now synchronize with the network and receive the most updated pricing and inventory lists prior to meeting with their customers.

Quicksheet 5.0 also includes enterprise-class features such as out-of-the-box integration with Symbol(R) scanning devices, synchronization with Aether Software's ScoutSync(TM) and automatic conversion of spreadsheet attachments to/from Excel using Actual Software's Multi-Mail(R) Pro.
