Cutter & Buck Announces Plans to Open Second Retail Store; New Management Appointments.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1999--

Cutter & Buck (Nasdaq:CBUK) today announced that it will open its second retail location at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, Colorado. The new store will be approximately 3,500 square feet and is expected to open in September 1999.

"We targeted the Cherry Creek Shopping Center for our next retail store since it provides us with the opportunity to showcase Cutter & Buck's full collections of men's and women's casualwear to a new audience," said Harvey Jones, Chairman and CEO.

Cutter & Buck also announced two new additions to its management team. John Leech will join the company as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Leech brings with him over eighteen years of information technology experience. Previously, Leech was Director, Information Technology with Korry Electronics Company, a subsidiary of Esterline Technologies.

Cutter & Buck also announced that Mark Gransee has joined the company to fill the newly created position of Director of E-Business Development. Prior to his appointment with Cutter & Buck, Gransee was Divisional Vice President, Information Services with Eddie Bauer.
