Most hard-working folk when sick have only statutory sick pay when off work.

Why because you are management do you think you are any different from folk on the shop floor? Why should the private sector have to pay for the public sector pensions? Pay for your own pensions, most under-paid workers have to. Cutbacks need to be made to ease the tax burden.
