BEIRUT: Financial General Prosecutor Judge Fawzi Adham filed charges on Thursday against 48 employees from the Customs Authority, for fraud and squandering public funds. The employees were suspected of falsifying official customs documents and wasting public money. They were transferred to the custody of Investigating Magistrate Shawqi al-Hajjar. A similar case was earlier transferred to Hajjar but is currently suspended. -- The Daily Star
