Customers can interact with digital messaging display through touch-screen.A touch-screen overlay that allows customers to interact with a digital messaging display in banks has been introduced by Clarity Visual Systems Inc., Wilsonville, Ore. The overlay is one of several configuration options that the company offers for its 40 inch direct-view liquid-crystal display (LCD) product known as the Bobcat display. An LCD display is similar to those used in today's laptop computer monitors. The company says that the product has been popular for digital messaging in banks and credit unions. "Unlike other large-screen LCI) displays that am derivatives of consumer television products, Bobcat was designed from the ground up for professional visual messaging applications," says Rob Murdock, Clarity's director of product marketing.
