Customers Recognize Quality at USF Corporation: USF Logistics Services Joins USF Reddaway and USF Holland as ``Quest for Quality'' Award Winner.

Three USF Corporation companies (www.usfc.com) were recently awarded the "Quest for Quality" award from Logistics Management magazine, a trade journal that covers the transportation and logistics industry. This is the first time USF Logistics Services Inc. has received the honor in the 3PL category, joining USF Holland Inc. and USF Reddaway Inc., which have received the award for a consecutive 18 and 13 years respectively in the regional LTL category. The "Quest for Quality" award is announced annually and is voted on by customers who choose service providers they believe provided the best service throughout the year.

Carriers are judged in five areas: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations. 3PL providers are also judged in five areas: carrier selection/negotiation, order fulfillment, transportation/distribution, inventory management, and logistics information systems. Results of the study appear in the August issue of the publication.
