Customers Recognize Pavilion for Industry Excellence; Company's Neural Network Tool Receives Fifth Consecutive CONTROL Magazine Readers' Choice Award.

Business Editors & High-Tech Writers

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 2002

For the fifth consecutive year, the readers of CONTROL Magazine have voted Pavilion Technologies the best supplier of neural network software Neural network software is used to simulate, research, develop and apply artificial neural networks, biological neural networks and in some cases a wider array of adaptive systems. .

"This award is significant because it represents the opinions of the people who use control solutions every day," said Gail Moser, Pavilion vice president of marketing and sales. "We are very proud to offer a tool so effective that our customers feel compelled to tell others about it."

Each year, CONTROL Magazine randomly polls 5,000 readers to compile its Readers' Choice Awards. Readers are asked to identify by name the best supplier in 62 categories. The results are opinions from actual users of the product.

"In this time of tightening budgets, companies have to look for solutions that deliver real value, fast," said Moser. "We work very hard to develop software that addresses the real needs of our customers, and this award is more proof that we are delivering on that commitment."
