SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) today launched an innovative, interactive tool designed to let customers and prospects examine benefits, costs and value potential through the implementation of a best-of-breed supply chain management solution.

The new online tool, mySAP(TM) Supply Chain Management (mySAP SCM) Value Calculator, available at the sap.com Web site, enables users to assess the strength of their e-business operations and predict how they can realize additional value using integrated supply chain management solutions.

To operate the mySAP SCM Value Calculator, users follow simple steps and answer basic business questions about their company. The mySAP SCM Value Calculator will analyze the data and map the user's enterprise into one of four Stages of Excellence. Each stage represents a different step in a company's evolution toward complete supply chain integration, beginning with a collection of disconnected systems and moving toward a fully collaborative e-business. The mySAP SCM Value Calculator is the only tool currently available that allows users to see where they are and how they can continually evolve their supply chain management program.

In addition, the mySAP SCM Value Calculator estimates the total value that the user's company could realize in a 12-month period by using an integrated supply chain management solution. SAP also provides comparative case studies and success stories of companies that already utilize the mySAP SCM solution and that have realized similar benefits and efficiencies.
