Custom Disability Solutions Contracts With Resources For Living to Provide Integrated Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Solutions.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine & AUSTIN, Texas -- Custom Disability Solutions (CDS) announced today that it has contracted with Resources For Living (RFL), provider of outcome-based behavioral health counseling and coaching, to provide integrated EAP solutions to CDS' clients. The EAP services provided by RFL cover the full spectrum of challenges that may affect individuals and their families at home or in the workplace. CDS will offer the EAP services with its group disability insurance products.

"Adding EAP to our portfolio helps enhance the competitiveness of our current group disability product offering, and will lead to increased sales and revenue," said Jerry Bannach, president and CEO of Custom Disability Solutions. "The EAP product will help to further differentiate our clients' LTD offering, and allow them to stand out with brokers and employers. With the EAP product, client companies will gain access to tools and training to help them market and sell EAP to new and existing employer groups," Bannach concluded.

Dan Clark, VP and chief marketing officer for RFL said, "Having personally worked for many years with persons with disabilities as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, I am very aware of the significant need that exists to help employees cope with the challenges of recovery and return to work. Moreover, our entire organization understands the significant impact a well designed and promoted EAP can have on disability duration, utilization and recidivism. I am extremely excited about our partnership with CDS inasmuch as this program is uniquely designed to promote utilization though preventative wellness and support all employees and their family members regardless of their diagnosis. Unlike so many so called "free" EAP programs, the combined CDS / RFL program is able to demonstrate tangible return on investment by way of improving employee absenteeism, productivity, presenteeism, disability duration and utilization rates."

CDS' EAP offering provides employees and their families with access to personal and professional wellness services. Available services include: emotional wellness, relationships, finances, parenting and childcare, and health. Employees can access counselors and support services toll-free by phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Web-based tools and resources are available as well. The EAP offers workplace support to employers that help them manage the challenges and issues of their work environment. Services include, but are not limited to: performance management and coaching, identifying and managing troubled employees, critical incident support services, and consultation on productivity and organizational issues.
